How to style men's sneakers?

In the past, sneakers were primarily intended to be worn during sports. There were specific groups that wore sneakers, such as the "gabbers." But today, almost everyone wears sneakers. And not just in their free time, but also to work. It is important, however, how you style your sneakers, so here are some tips.

A casual look is, of course, easy to create. You can easily combine chunky sneakers or more refined sneakers with a pair of jeans.

But men's sneakers are also great to wear to work and other dressy occasions. It makes your look a bit less serious and strict.

You can very well wear white sneakers with a suit. In that case, preferably choose a low, refined model. So, no chunky, thick soles. Keep it simple. It is, however, important that your white sneakers also look truly beautiful and white. So maintain them well.

You can also wear dark blue sneakers with a blue suit, in a matching color. Dark blue sneakers are somewhat less conspicuous under a suit than white sneakers. Cognac-colored sneakers also look good with a suit.

Can you dress a bit less formally for work or an occasion? Then you can perfectly combine sneakers with dress pants and a shirt. For dressy occasions, it is important that your sneakers look nice and clean. So polish them regularly and wipe the soles with a cloth. You can occasionally put your laces in the wash, inside a laundry bag. Clean, white laces also give your shoes an instantly fresh look.
